MDC offering fishing lessons to public

The Missouri Department of Conservation is offering free fishing classes later this month at Marceline and Brookfield, as part of their Discover Nature Program.
Media Specialist for MDC, Bill Graham, says that people catch fish sooner than they might expect.

"People actually, after some instruction, go fishing at a lake or pond, wherever the class is held.  And we provide a tackle, bait, stand there with them as they are trying out the fishing gear.  And people usually do catch fish."

Lessons 1 and 2 will be at Old Marceline City Reservoir on September 18th and at Brookfield City Lake on September 19th.
